Grow your Auxiliary Unit

Be Prepared

Carry Membership forms with you. Simple trick? Place folded forms inside a small plastic bag and keep them in your bag or purse. Even spruce it up with stickers on the outside and add a small hook to attach it to your bag handle. This way you always have forms when the opportunity arises.

Learn from Others

Getting involved is one of the best ways to stay motivated, inspired, and mission focused. Attend District & Department Conferences as they arise. You will meet new people and get new ideas flowing.

Plan Activities

Plan outings for your Auxiliary Unit to just have fun together in public. You may gain new members simply by being out and being yourselves. Whether it's a bus hop, shopping endeavor, attending a show or concert; wear Auxiliary gear and you may grab some attention.

Use Social Media

Get social! Use the power of Facebook to be seen and heard. Use fun pictures and videos from your events to promote upcoming activities or even to invite non-members to attend a meeting. Create events for all of your meetings & activities and share them to community bulletin boards.

Check in on other Units & Legion Families. Follow them on social media and take notes on what is working well!

Testimonials

Ask your members to write a testimonial on why they love being a member. Turn them into graphics and reels to share on Social Media and your websites. (see example reel)
