Tickets to the new Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum galleries are now available!

Our Grand Opening Weekend is September 11–13, 2026, and we expect a tremendous turnout as we celebrate the opening of Minnesota’s new Military & Veterans Museum.

Advance timed-entry reservations are required to visit the museum galleries during Grand Opening Weekend. If you plan to tour the galleries, we encourage you to reserve your preferred date and time in advance.

Join us for Grand Opening Weekend

The three-day celebration will feature:

• Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of September 11

• Official Grand Opening Celebration

• Remarks by Gen. Paul M. Nakasone (Ret.)

• Historic warbird flyovers

• Veteran-led experiences

• Military vehicles, concerts, family activities, and more

Outdoor Grand Opening activities are free and open to everyone. A museum ticket is required only for entry into the galleries. Please keep in mind that we expect the museum grounds to be very busy throughout the weekend, so plan accordingly.

We’d still love to welcome you! Museum gallery tickets are also available for dates beyond September 11–13. Consider planning your visit for another weekend, when you can experience the new museum galleries at a more relaxed pace.
