Women Veterans Event

McLeod County Veteran Services is proud to host a Women Veterans Event in the new Century Hall building on the McLeod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, MN.

The event will begin with light refreshments and a whole health activity. There will be speakers from:

• The VA healthcare system

• Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs

• Minnesota Association of County Veterans Service Officers

• and National Association of County Veteran Services Officers

These speakers will provide information on an array of benefits specifically for female veterans.

A free lunch will be provided to all attendees. A massage therapist will also be providing mini massage sessions throughout the day.

The afternoon will conclude with an exciting floral design workshop provided through the U of M Extension, and a closing whole health activity.

The purpose of this event is to reach a veteran population that is greatly underserved.

The hope is to provide and connect female veterans to the benefits they are deserving of and entitled to as well as starting a community of female veterans. The goal is to build a community beyond McLeod County into the surrounding counties- so we welcome those who live in Meeker, Sibley, Renville, Carver, and Wright County to join us on April 26th. The event will have limited space, so don't wait to sign up!
