The American Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Third District proudly participates in the Wreaths Across America Program, a national effort to remember our fallen heroes, honor those who serve, and teach future generations the value of freedom. Each December, volunteers gather at cemeteries across the country to place fresh evergreen wreaths on veterans’ graves, ensuring their service and sacrifice are never forgotten. This moving tribute provides a moment of unity as communities come together to reflect on the price of freedom.

Through this program, Auxiliary members, families, and community partners work side by side to sponsor wreaths, coordinate ceremonies, and share stories of service. Every wreath placed represents a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, reminding us all that veterans deserve to be remembered not just on Memorial Day or Veterans Day, but throughout the year. By supporting Wreaths Across America, we honor the legacy of our nation’s heroes and pass on the importance of remembrance to the generations that follow.
